The Biological Diversity Act, 2002

The Biological Act, 2002 was enacted by the Parliament of India to conserve biological diversity, sustainably use its components and ensure fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising out of the use of biological resources and associated knowledge.

The Biological Diversity Rules, 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 62 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002, and in supersession of the National Biodiversity Authority (salary, Allowances and conditions of service of Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2003 except as respect to thing done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government formulated the Biological Diversity Rules, 2004.

The Nagaland State Biological Diversity Rules, 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 63 (1) of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 the Government of Nagaland formulated the Nagaland State Biodiversity Rules, 2012.
